The machine is manoeuvred into position

Positioning the new 125tonne Frech DAW-F zinc diecasting machine, the guys from G Cox machinery movers made light work of positioning the machine and Robot cell.

We have invested in this, our second 125t machine, as a response to the increase in demand for larger diecastings and multi impression dies. This new machine, in line with our policy of continuous improvement , will improve quality as a result of the control features of the new F type machine. These features include a 'shot brake' to reduce flash, and improved shot monitoring which will help identify metal flow issues during the zinc filling cycle. The addition of an ABB robot take off and sprue recycling will further reduce costs, improve efficiency and productivity.

" The addition of the new machine shows our commitment to supply quality castings to our customers on time at the right price"  - Rob Wilkinson MD
